Intervention

joeressen+kessner react to a found status quo, which goes along with the topographic specifics of a location or of the meaning, context and experiences associated with it. They explore the visual structure, the associated quality of symbols and the linked contents.
In the artistic process, they develop a digital, audio-visual system, generating material in situ and varying infinitely. Through large-format projections outside and inside they generate an audio-visual environment, including the St. Michaelis church as a resonating body.
