With his delicate, colourful light art installations, Mariotti shows utmost aesthetics and through elaborate technology he conveys great apparent naturalness. The viewer is therefore faced with the seemingly paradox procedure of visualizing nature’s beauty through technical perfection.
Roemer and Pelizaeus Museum

Anna Schafhausen bequeathed her property and assets to the city of Hildesheim to set up a fiduciary foundation to support the Roemer-Pelizaeus-Museum Hildesheim. She died in 1994 and the foundation was established in 1996. >>
